Ode to Memo Ochoa

I owe Memo and apology,

Mr. Lucky is a die hard USA Soccer Fan. Being so, I know the Mexican team. I respect them, but want to kick their ass on the pitch every time we square up. Memo has been the Goal Keeper of El Tri for a while.  As of late I have been particularly  harsh and rash of the Mexican Team's disarray. Knowing they have an arsenal of young talent in the wings. The Best Mexico will help us (TEAM USA) compete in '26. Before the Gold Cup I honestly thought Memo lost a step…. I stand corrected. Math don't lie, the guy had a stellar Cup. Props to Memo. 

That said… Memo is 38 in ‘26 he will be 41. Research shows Goalies Prime age is 27-31. I believe this Coach Jimmy Lo will give pass the torch this summer. Memo enjoyed a fab career. This is his ride into the Mexican sunset. He’s a winner. He a folk hero. I'll buy him a beer if I ever run across him.
